I’m Colby Gilmore, a seasoned Senior Product Manager passionate about solving challenging problems in ways that resonate with customers and align with business goals. My primary focus is ensuring the solutions provided are both valuable and viable for the overall success of the business.

I excel in environments that are low ego, high collaboration when it relates to stakeholder management, product delivery – maintaining a strong focus on quality, scalability, user experience and being genuinely empathetic to users and customers.

Currently I reside in Cottonwood Heights UT and have extensive experience working with US remote, Global remote and on-site teams.

About Me

With 9 years of experience in technology Product Management and 12+ years in product delivery through Agile. I’m an impact-driven leader who thrives in identifying areas for improvement and promotes sustainable solutions that scale. Tenured in taking a product strategy from ideation > development > delivery > adoption > market with cross-functional teams of UX Designers, Engineers, Architects and Customers.

My #1 core belief – focusing on customer-centric problems include both internal and external customers.  I believe you must have a deep understanding of the customer, data, business model and industry to be successful. You can see that reflected in my past work.

I believe in frameworks, tools and process that can help deliver products to customers faster, but shouldn’t get in the way of actually delivering value. I’m a past certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant and have certifications in Program Management Organization tactics. Now days, I use these learnings to excel in true Agile Practices & Principles – deliver early and often, empowering teams, rapid prototyping, Northstar – MVP, data-informed-decision making, system thinking and customer empathy.
